In a proactive measure to ensure the safety and well-being of its employees, the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly has taken significant steps to equip its staff with fire safety Education. The initiative comes in response to the growing need for robust safety protocols in household and industrial settings, and the Assembly’s commitment to prioritizing the protection of its workforce.
The fire safety education program, conducted by Officers from the Western North Ghana National Fire Service, covered essential aspects of fire prevention, mitigation, and response strategies.
Staff members were educated on identifying potential fire hazards, handling emergency situations, operating firefighting equipment, and safely evacuating the premises in the event of a fire.
Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly recognizes the importance of empowering its employees with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively handle fire-related incidents. By investing in this Education, the Assembly aims to create a safer working environment and foster a culture of preparedness and responsibility among its workforce.
